Football Recap: Sherando Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home + How To Watch

Sherando dropped to 5-3 on Friday, ending the team's seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-7 to the Handley Judges, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Judges apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Jacob Henry threw for 110 yards and one touchdown.

As for Handley, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.0 points over those games.

Jamir Washington produced another solid performance rushing for 195 yards.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sherando will face off against Fauquier at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Handley, they will take on James Wood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
