Basketball Recap: Manual Skates Past Montbello with Ease

On Thursday, everything came up roses for the Manual Thunderbolts against the Montbello Warriors as the team secured a 68-28 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderbolts.

Zubayr Carpenter had an outrageously good game as he went 10 for 12 on his way to 20 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards. Jimmy Martinez was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Manual's record now sits at 2-0. As for Montbello, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Manual will take on Arvada in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Manual is facing Arvada at the right time seeing as Arvada is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Montbello, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 76-27 loss against Northglenn on the 14th.
