Basketball Recap: Indian Creek Find Success

Indian Creek lost to Edgewood back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Indian Creek Braves managed a 51-47 victory over the Edgewood Mustangs. The 51-point effort marked the Braves' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Indian Creek now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Edgewood, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.

Indian Creek won't have much time to rest: their next game is against North Putnam at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Indian Creek is facing North Putnam at the right time seeing as North Putnam is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Edgewood, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Sullivan at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Sullivan will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Edgewood surely won't give up without a fight.
