Soccer Game Preview: Tunstall vs. George Washington

The Tunstall Trojans will square off against the George Washington Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Tunstall and five for George Washington.

Tunstall is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They fell just short of Halifax County by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, George Washington came up short against Martinsville last Thursday, falling 5-1. George Washington were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Tunstall's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for George Washington, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-6-1.

Tunstall couldn't quite get it done against George Washington in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
