Basketball Game Preview: Winside Wildcats vs. Winnebago Indians

The Winside Wildcats just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Winnebago Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Winside is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Winside challenged Randolph on Thursday. Winside lost 65-44 to Randolph.

Caleb Offner put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted nine points and five blocks. He is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. Baker Behmer was another key player, putting up six points.

Meanwhile, Winnebago played a tough game last Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. 2025 welcomed they with a 63-41 loss courtesy of Norfolk Catholic. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Winnebago's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Winside, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
