Basketball Recap: Conneaut Comes Up Short

Conneaut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 80-41 loss at the hands of the Geneva Eagles. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-12.

Conneaut's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Geneva, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conneaut will challenge Academy for Urban Scholars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Geneva, they will take on Harvey at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
