Football Recap: Jayden Gibson Key Part of Team Effort in Bruins Win + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Bayshore, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 26-20 victory over the Pinellas Park Patriots on Friday. For the Bruins, this counts as revenge for the 49-21 win the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2021.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bayshore to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Gibson, who picked up 83 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Bayshore didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Imari Thomas and Wilson Nonnombre.

Despite the loss, Pinellas Park still got an impressive performance from Jhai Hitchcock, who rushed for 176 yards and two scores.

Bayshore now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pinellas Park, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Bayshore will be playing at home against Braden River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pinellas Park, they will head out to square off against Lakewood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
