Heath was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Maysville Panthers. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Heath still got an impressive performance from Peyton Del Cecato, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Del Cecato a new career-high in steals (seven). Kailyn Holmberg was another key player, putting up 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Heath's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Maysville, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Heath has already played their next game, a 42-33 win against Watkins Memorial on the 5th. Maysville has also already played their next matchup (against Philo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
