Soccer Game Preview: Wesclin vs. Staunton

The Wesclin Warriors will head out to face off against the Staunton Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wesclin has given up an average of 2.8 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Wesclin's offense. They came up short against Freeburg on Saturday, falling 6-0. Wesclin have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Staunton hadn't done well against Carlinville recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Cavaliers 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Staunton sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Wesclin's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-2. As for Staunton, their record is now 13-1.
