The McFarland Spartans will head out to challenge the Sauk Prairie Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, McFarland turned things around against Portage on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Warriors.
The final score came out to 25-22, 19-25, 25-17, 25-17.

McFarland found their leader in sophomore Talia Riemen, who had 16 digs and six aces. Those six aces set a new season-high mark for Riemen.
McFarland was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. They are 10-2 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Sauk Prairie was able to grind out a solid win over Madison Memorial on Thursday, taking the game 3-1.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-16, 19-25, 25-23.
Sauk Prairie's win came from a few key players McFarland will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Leah Allen, who had 12 digs and three aces. What's more, she racked up 15 assists, the most she's had over her last 13 contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Bentlee Conway, who had 18 digs and two aces.
McFarland's record now sits at 13-14. As for Sauk Prairie, their record is now 20-3.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: McFarland has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 9 aces per game. However, it's not like Sauk Prairie struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
McFarland couldn't quite get it done against Sauk Prairie in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
