Basketball Recap: Edisto Takes a Loss

Edisto lost against Bamberg-Ehrhardt last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Edisto Cougars were dealt a 61-2 loss at the hands of the Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Edisto's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Bamberg-Ehrhardt, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Edisto and Branchville will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bamberg-Ehrhardt, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-42 win against Colleton County on the 18th.
