Volleyball Recap: Westerville North Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Westerville North won the last time they faced Big Walnut and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors put the hurt on the Golden Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

While Westerville North won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 25-20.

Owen Varsanyi paced Westerville North's offense, picking up 11 kills. Varsanyi got some help from Sam Gainey and his 21 assists. Varsanyi also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Vince Workman, racking up three apiece.
