Softball Recap: Loving Falcons vs. Eunice Cardinals

Loving can now show off 18 landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They put the hurt on the Eunice Cardinals with a sharp 9-2 victory. Winning may never get old, but Loving sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Braylee Hunt made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Hunt has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive pitching appearances. Hunt was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Loving let Brooklyn Rodriguez and Sierra Rodriguez loose on the outfield. Rodriguez went 4-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Rodriguez scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
