Baseball Recap: Clarion Area Bobcats vs. Greenville Trojans
It was a good run, but Clarion Area unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Thursday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-6), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.
Noah Harrison made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
On Greenville's side, Jacob Csonka was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Justin Schell, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and a stolen base.
Clarion Area's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-2-1. As for Greenville, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
