Basketball Game Preview: Noblesville Millers vs. Anderson Indians

Noblesville has won four straight games at home, while Anderson has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Noblesville Millers will welcome the Anderson Indians at 7:30 p.m. Noblesville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season.

Noblesville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Indiana's top teams: Mt. Vernon, who was ranked sixth at the time (Noblesville was ranked ninth). Noblesville snuck past Mt. Vernon with a 50-46 victory on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Millers in their matchups with the Marauders: they've now won three in a row.

Noblesville can attribute much of their success to Justin Curry II, who went 6 for 11 en route to 19 points and five boards, and Adam Fine, who went 5 of 7 to rack up 19 points. What's more, Fine also posted a 71% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's posted since back in November of 2024. Baron Walker was another key player, putting up ten points.

Meanwhile, Anderson strolled past Richmond with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 68-54.

Anderson's win came from a few key players Noblesville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Javon Warfield, who posted ten points along with eight rebounds and five assists. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Damien King, who made all 7 shots he took for 15 points.

Anderson's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Noblesville, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.

Everything came up roses for Noblesville against Anderson in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as the team secured a 67-40 victory. Will Noblesville repeat their success, or does Anderson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
