Baseball Game Preview: Citronelle Wildcats vs. Davidson Warriors

Citronelle is 2-7 against Davidson since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. Citronelle will host Davidson at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Citronelle's offense. They lost 11-0 to T.R. Miller on Friday. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Meanwhile, Davidson came up short against Baldwin County on Friday, falling 8-2. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Davidson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Luker, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that Luker snagged this season.

Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Citronelle, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.
