 The Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars were the  63-59 winner over the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors when they last played one another  back in March, but their luck changed this time around. Middle Tennessee Christian took a  50-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Christian Academy of Knoxville on Thursday.
 Middle Tennessee Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Madison Graham, who  scored 13 points along with five  rebounds. The  matchup was  Graham's third in a row with at least ten points.  Ashley Rucker was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points along with five  rebounds.
 Middle Tennessee Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.
 Middle Tennessee Christian is on the road again  on Friday and play against Webb at 6:00  p.m.  on December 22nd. Christian Academy of Knoxville won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Science Hill at 1:00  p.m.  on December 22nd. The  teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Science Hill has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Christian Academy of Knoxville will arrive with three straight  victories.
