Softball Recap: LaPoynor Comes Up Short

LaPoynor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Cross Roads Bobcats, falling 12-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 on Tuesday.

LaPoynor now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Cross Roads, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 24-9 record this season.

LaPoynor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cross Roads, they will face off against Overton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
