Julius Washington was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 27 points and 15 boards. The contest was his 22nd in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Washington, who posted eight points.

Grasso Tech smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 34 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Grasso Tech has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 87.4 points over those games. Old Lyme's win bumped their record up to 23-3.
