Basketball Recap: San Angelo Central Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact San Angelo Central can now relate to. They took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastwood Troopers on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 528th, while the Troopers are ranked 110th).

San Angelo Central has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-23 record this season. As for Eastwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season.

San Angelo Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eastwood, they will take on Boswell on Thursday. Boswell will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Eastwood surely won't give up without a fight.
