Basketball Game Preview: Ribault Trojans vs. ED White Commanders

The Ribault Trojans will square off against the ED White Commanders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Ribault fought the good fight in their overtime game against University Christian on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to the Christians. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, ED White had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 52-45 win over the Greyhounds.

ED White has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Ribault, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6.

Ribault strolled past ED White in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 by a score of 89-72. Does Ribault have another victory up their sleeve, or will ED White turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
