Recap: Salome Frogs vs. Desert Heights Prep Yote
The Salome Frogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They put the hurt on Desert Heights Prep with a sharp 73-47 win. With that win, Salome brought their scoring average up to 50.9 points per game.
It was another big night for Jibran Castillo, who scored 31 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Jovany Calderon was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Salome is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Desert Heights Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
Salome will head out on the road to take on Bagdad at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Desert Heights Prep, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Mayer at 5:00 p.m. on January 18th.
