Baseball Recap: Morgan Raiders vs. Sheridan Generals
Morgan extended their losing streak to four on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 5-13 in the process. They came up short against the Sheridan Generals, falling 15-0. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 16-1 to the Generals when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for Sheridan, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4. Considering they have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
For Sheridan's part, Brody White made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. White has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, earning four RBI and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, James Solomon was incredible, going 1-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Camdyn Packer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one RBI.
