Volleyball Recap: Tescott Comes Up Short

Tescott extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 10-13-1. They fell 2-0 to the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs. The Trojans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

As for Sylvan-Lucas, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-8. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-19 Pike Valley and 10-13-1 Tescott.

Sylvan-Lucas can attribute much of their success to Olivia Crawford, who had seven digs and five assists. That's the most digs Crawford has posted over her last seven matches.

Coincidentally, Tescott and Sylvan-Lucas will both be playing Pike Valley the next time they take the court. The Trojans will head out to face the Panthers on Tuesday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
