Basketball Game Preview: Medicine Valley Raiders vs. Cambridge Trojans

Medicine Valley hasn't had much luck against Cambridge recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Medicine Valley Raiders will square off against the Cambridge Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, Medicine Valley blew past Arapahoe, posting a 64-37 victory. That 27 point margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cambridge). They came out on top against Southwest by a score of 76-65 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Trojans who have now won three contests in a row.

The victory got Medicine Valley back to even at 5-5. As for Cambridge, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6.

Medicine Valley came up short against Cambridge in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 43-39. Can Medicine Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
