Recap: Morrow Mustangs vs. Forest Park Panthers
The Morrow Mustangs waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They walked away with a 59-46 victory over Forest Park. Given Morrow's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while Forest Park is ranked 505th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Dayton Harris, Jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Coleman, who scored ten points.
Morrow has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Forest Park, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morrow will face off against Rockdale County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forest Park, they will head out on the road to square off against Jonesboro at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
