Softball Recap: Larned Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Larned's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hoisington Cardinals on Tuesday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Larned and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Hoisington, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Larned will welcome Hesston at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Swathers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Hoisington, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Haven at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
