Basketball Recap: Carlisle Takes a Loss

If Carlisle was feeling good fresh off their 68-42 takedown of Penn Manor last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Carlisle Thundering Herd took a 54-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chambersburg Trojans on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thundering Herd this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-46 back in January.

Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Chambersburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Chambersburg beat Carlisle by a score of 54-43 on Thursday.
