Softball Recap: Rockville Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Rockville's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Ellington Knights on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Rams' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Rockville has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Ellington, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Coincidentally, Rockville and Ellington will both be playing South Windsor the next time they take the field. The Rams will head out to face the Bobcats at 3:45 p.m. on Monday, while the Knights will head out to face them at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
