Basketball Game Preview: Ashland Hornets vs. Southern Aroostook Warriors

Ashland hasn't had much luck against Southern Aroostook recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Ashland Hornets will be home for the holidays to greet the Southern Aroostook Warriors at 2:30 p.m.

Ashland is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 15th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They had to suffer through a 87-18 loss at the hands of Easton. The game marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southern Aroostook). They walked away with a 63-55 victory over Washburn on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Ashland's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Southern Aroostook, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
