Basketball Game Preview: Motley County Matadors vs. Paducah Dragons

The Motley County Matadors will face off against the Paducah Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Motley County and ten for Paducah.

Last Friday, Motley County had to suffer through a 72-21 loss at the hands of Valley. While losing is never fun, the Matadors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1113th, while the Patriots are ranked 245th).

Meanwhile, Paducah ended up a good deal behind Patton Springs on Friday and lost 56-38.

Paducah's defeat dropped their record down to 3-24. As for Motley County, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.

Motley County was able to grind out a solid win over Paducah in their previous matchup back in January, winning 47-34. Does Motley County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Paducah turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
