Basketball Recap: Green Bay Southwest Takes a Loss

Green Bay Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 78-15 loss at the hands of the Bay Port Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 428th, while the Pirates are ranked 98th).

Green Bay Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Bay Port, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Sheboygan North the next time they take the court. Bay Port will head out to face Sheboygan North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Green Bay Southwest will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
