Softball Preview: West Campus Warriors vs. Johnson Warriors
For the first time this season, West Campus will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Friday. They will square off against Johnson at 3:30 p.m. West Campus will be strutting in after a win while Johnson will be coming in after a defeat.
While Warriors fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Monday's season opener. They walked away with a 14-10 victory over Bradshaw Christian on Monday.

The team relied heavily on Moriah Williams, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, two triples, and five RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Milana Hess, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Johnson has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.4 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit last Wednesday. They lost 14-4 to Christian Brothers. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their undefeated season.
Ivette Villar made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-3. Those runs were her first of the season.
