Columbia Central is a perfect 3-0 against Hanover-Horton since April of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Golden Eagles will face off against the Comets at 5:30 p.m. Columbia Central's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Hanover-Horton's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Columbia Central barely beat Grass Lake the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Golden Eagles never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Wednesday. Columbia Central haven't had any issues with Grass Lake recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in April, Hanover-Horton was forced to settle for a draw on Wednesday. They and Jonesville finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Hanover-Horton's draw gives them a new season record of 2-6-2. As for Columbia Central, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1-1.

Everything went Columbia Central's way against Hanover-Horton when the teams last played back in April, as Columbia Central made off with a 5-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
