Volleyball Recap: Gowanda Wins Going Away Against West Valley Central

While Gowanda didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-4), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the West Valley Central Wildcats 3-0 on Monday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Gowanda took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-7.

Gowanda's victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Gowanda has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Salamanca on the 1st. As for West Valley Central, they will square off against Cattaraugus-Little Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
