Baseball Recap: Trumann Comes Up Short

Trumann came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lonoke Jackrabbits, falling 15-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2015.

Trumann saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Carrillo, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Trumann's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lonoke, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lonoke beat Trumann by a score of 13-0 later that day.
