Basketball Recap: Ogdensburg Free Academy Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Ogdensburg Free Academy entered their contest against Potsdam on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Ogdensburg Free Academy Blue Devils came up short against the Potsdam Sandstoners, falling 49-27. The match marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Potsdam found their leader in sophomore Ian VanWagner, who went 8 of 17 on his way to 21 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds. VanWagner has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last ten times he's played. Brodie Delaney was another key player, going 5 for 9 en route to 11 points.

Ogdensburg Free Academy's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3. As for Potsdam, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.
