Etowah waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Lambert Longhorns by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Etowah easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20.

Etowah's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Lambert, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Coming up, Etowah will challenge Wheeler at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lambert, they will take on Lassiter at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
