Leipsic hadn't done well against Columbus Grove recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Vikings put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 14-3 win. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

With the victory, Leipsic broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-11. As for Columbus Grove, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Looking ahead, Leipsic will venture away from home to challenge Continental at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Columbus Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Perry at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
