Flag Football Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Skyline's offense. They were outmatched by the Red Mountain Mountain Lions and fell 44-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Coyotes in their meetings with the Mountain Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Korey Roberts was her usual excellent self, throwing for 185 yards and four touchdowns for Red Mountain. That's the most passing yards Roberts has posted since back in September. Cadence McCanless was in the mix as well, providing Red Mountain with two TDs.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Red Mountain, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Skyline is set to take on their familiar foe Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Red Mountain will square off against rival Dobson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
