The Patrick Henry Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mechanicsville Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Patrick Henry is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Highland Springs on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while the Warriors are ranked 75th).

Patrick Henry will have to keep a close watch on Elizabeth Hardwick and Carys Khan, a pair of players who had a big impact on Mechanicsville's prior game. Hardwick posted six points and five rebounds, while Khan scored five points.

Mechanicsville's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Patrick Henry, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with the defeat, which was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season.
