Soccer Recap: Rocklin Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Rocklin was not quite Davis Sr.'s equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Davis Sr. Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in January.

Rocklin's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5-3. As for Davis Sr., they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rocklin will square off against Whitney at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Davis Sr., they will take on Jesuit at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Jesuit's last six games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
