Basketball Recap: Bismarck's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

It was a good run, but Bismarck unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 64-53 to the Bunker Eagles. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kinsey Hubbs, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 15 points. The dominant performance gave Hubbs a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Alysssa Brake, who posted six points and eight rebounds.

Bismarck's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8. As for Bunker, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Bismarck will venture away from home to take on Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bunker has already played their next contest (against Newburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
