Baseball Recap: Archbishop Williams Comes Up Short

If Archbishop Williams was feeling good fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Tewksbury Memorial on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bishops took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. John Paul II Lions on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Bishops in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

Archbishop Williams' record is now 5-13. As for St. John Paul II, their victory bumped their record up to 19-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archbishop Williams will venture away from home to square off against Newton South at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for St. John Paul II, they will challenge Carver at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
