1A 6 Man 1 Region III District 11 (6 Man) recap Oct. 30, 2012

Walnut Springs took down Covington 61-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Zane Trotter threw for 72 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 110 yards in the win.

Blum led 1A 6 Man 1 Region III District 11 (6 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 68 points on Kopperl.

Walnut Springs' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Trotter has thrown for 802 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Dillon Rose has 18 catches for 279 yards. Rose leads the league in rushing with 812 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Bobcats take on the Hornets. Blum is currently in third, while Walnut Springs is in first.

Rose broke off the longest rushing play in 1A 6 Man 1 Region III District 11 (6 Man) this week with a 55-yard scamper against the Owls. Rose ended up with 113 yards rushing as Tim Trotter's team topped Covington.
