Basketball Game Preview: Harvest Prep Warriors vs. Fort Frye Cadets

The Harvest Prep Warriors will take on the Fort Frye Cadets at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Harvest Prep comes in on four and Fort Frye on five.

Harvest Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They took down Federal Hocking 71-56.

It was another big night for Maliyah Lofton, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten assists. The match was her fourth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Janay Carter, who posted 12 points and six boards.

Harvest Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Fort Frye didn't have too much trouble with Belpre on Thursday as they won 52-35.

Harvest Prep's victory bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Fort Frye, their win bumped their record up to 20-4.
