Elbert is 7-1 against Kiowa since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Indians at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Monday. Elbert took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Calhan. Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Calhan since on Monday.

Matt Dooley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. Caleb Cornell was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Kiowa didn't have quite enough to beat Elbert on Tuesday and fell 8-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Thade Montgemery and Caden Watt did some serious damage despite the final result: Montgemery went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Watt scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Montgemery is becoming a predictor of Kiowa's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-2 (and 0-4 when he doesn't).

Elbert has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Kiowa, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-6.

Elbert skirted past Kiowa 8-6 in their previous matchup on Tuesday. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
