Volleyball Recap: Washington Patriots vs. Musselman Applemen

Washington suffered their biggest loss since September 23rd on Tuesday. They came up short against the Musselman Applemen, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Applemen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Musselman's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alycia Miller, who had 14 digs. Another player making a difference was Bianca Hutzler, who had 14 assists and four digs.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17-4. As for Musselman, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-8.

Looking ahead, Washington will take on Martinsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Musselman, they will face off against Cardinal Newman at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
