Volleyball Recap: Jenkins Warriors vs. Savannah Arts Academy Panthers
Jenkins kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Savannah Arts Academy Panthers. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in September of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.
The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Savannah Arts Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Natalie Lehto, who had 13 assists and three digs. Those 13 assists gave Lehto a new career-high.
Coincidentally, Jenkins and Savannah Arts Academy will both be playing Savannah Country Day the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
