Basketball Game Preview: Junipero Serra Padres vs. Archbishop Mitty Monarchs

The Junipero Serra Padres will head out on the road to face off against the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Junipero Serra was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 66-60 to St. Ignatius College Preparatory.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Mitty came up short against Valley Christian on Thursday and fell 49-39. The contest marked the Monarchs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Junipero Serra's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Archbishop Mitty, they dropped their record down to 12-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
